Qantas approached us with the goal of reimagining their existing web design language through a more modern and immersive lens. In addition to leading the visual design direction, I developed a series of high-fidelity prototypes to bring these concepts to life and explore how they could function across key user journeys.
While the final interactive prototype is no longer available for public sharing, I’m including a full-page preview of the homepage design to provide a glimpse into the design approach and experience intent.

I’ve designed and developed hundreds of HTML5 web banners for a diverse range of clients, with extensive experience across rich media formats, advertising platforms, and ad server specifications. While it's not practical to share the full scope of that work here, I’ve included one representative example that reflects my approach to both creative execution and technical precision.
At Tata Consultancy Services, I was periodically asked to design promotional brochures and presentation materials for both prospective clients and internal teams. Guided by a strong belief in the power of design fundamentals, I created this particular brochure as an internal tool to help junior designers deepen their understanding of core principles. The piece centers on the work of Dieter Rams (whose philosophy and legacy I hold in high regard) as a lens through which to explore timeless design thinking.

As Creative Director, I was brought in to reimagine the look and feel of a USAA mobile application after initial design concepts failed to meet the client’s expectations. With less than a week to deliver, I worked within tight creative constraints, refining the app’s design while preserving core elements from the original interface. My goal was to seamlessly blend the existing visual language with new improvements in layout, clarity, and usability. I developed high-fidelity prototypes to communicate both visual updates and enhanced functionality. The client was highly satisfied with the result. This project is one of many in my career where I’ve been tasked with delivering rapid, high-impact design direction in situations where earlier executions fell short.

Starbucks required a robust UX/UI solution for Data Cafe, an internal web portal designed to help associates monitor operational data and provide support across various departments. The platform would serve as a centralized resource for employee assistance, analytics tracking, and internal communication.
Working closely with the UX team, I collaborated on establishing the information architecture, ensuring a clear hierarchy and intuitive navigation based on user needs and role-based workflows. My primary responsibility was the visual design and UI execution—translating wireframes and functional requirements into a cohesive, user-friendly interface that aligned with Starbucks' internal brand standards.Working closely with the UX team, I collaborated on establishing the information architecture, ensuring a clear hierarchy and intuitive navigation based on user needs and role-based workflows. My primary responsibility was the visual design and UI execution, translating wireframes and functional requirements into a cohesive, user-friendly interface that aligned with Starbucks' internal brand standards.
This involved designing responsive layouts that accommodated complex datasets while remaining accessible and easy to interpret, creating custom iconography and scalable components for consistent use across the portal, and prioritizing usability and clarity to support associates in fast-paced environments. The final deliverable provided a clean, modern interface that enabled more efficient data access and streamlined internal support, ultimately improving productivity across teams.

As a Creative Director, I’m frequently called upon to design logos and guide branding and identity development for a diverse range of clients and products. My approach tends toward minimalist design, favoring timeless typography and classic fonts that ensure longevity beyond fleeting trends. I prioritize elegance and clarity over gimmicks like bouncing balls or cartwheeling clowns, aiming for identities that remain relevant and impactful over time. That said, I always welcome opportunities to infuse cleverness and originality into the work, balancing simplicity with thoughtful creativity.

I relish opportunities to design cover artwork with a minimalist approach. Over the course of my career, I’ve created numerous album covers, but this particular execution stands out as a favorite. I was especially drawn to the use of the translucent outer jacket, which adds a subtle layer of depth and sophistication. One advantage of minimalism is its ability to transcend specific eras, giving the design a timeless quality. For this project, I also enjoyed incorporating AI generated elements in the mockup featuring the blonde model. The two sets of hands are deliberate. After experimenting with 20 to 30 versions using realistic hands, I found that the slightly surreal AI artifacts added a unique and compelling character that better suited the overall aesthetic.
